The vineyard located on the Hill of Aosta in Moncenis locality at an altitude of 750 m asl with south-east exposure. The plot arranged to Ciglioni has an average slope of 50% and a rich ground in a skeleton of franco-sandy weaving. Simple guyot raised screws, with a plant density of 6,000 strains / hectare enjoy a dry and ventilated endealpine climate that favors cultivation. Grapes: Guyot 100%.
From the wine grapes
The grapes harvested towards the end of September have been destroyed and let them macerate for 10 days in fermentos at a controlled temperature. The automated replacement system has made it possible to optimize the management of vinification according to the fermentative vigor. A small game of grapes has macerated for 22 days in a steel container and has been moved daily with manual crows until the end of fermentation. Two travases are followed by the rack. Aging took place in steel tanks for about 8 months and for at least one month in the bottle.
