CREAM CLARETUM

Posted By: Le Speziali In: Cooking recipes from Le Speziali Comment: 0 Hit: 163

Mascarpone (typical Italian cream cheese), eggs, sugar and the Claretum medieval wine are the main ingredients of this simple cake, but with an exceptional taste. Seeing is believing!
The Claretum cream goes well with the panettone and the dove but it is also enjoyed as a spoon dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g. of mascarpone;
  • 4 eggs;
  • 6 tablespoons of sugar;
  • half a glass of Claretum.

Preparation

Separate the reds of the eggs with the whites, putting the reds in a bowl and the whites in another bowl.

Add the sugar to the egg yolks and whisk until the mixture is smooth and frothy.

Add the mascarpone a little at a time, always working with the whisk, it must be a creamy mixture without lumps, add the Claretum, mixing well.

Whisk the egg whites and mix them with the mascarpone mixture, stirring gently from top to bottom so as not to remove the whites.

Pour the cream into cups and serve.

Decorate to taste.

The photo shows a possible way of presentation.
